Turkey’s first basic trainer HÜRKUS conducts maiden flight

CESA wants to congratulate the company Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) for the successful first flight of the TAI’s Primary and Basic Trainer Aircraft (HÜRKUS) and especially to the team who did this possible, being part on its design and production. The aircraft has been named HÜRKUS, in commemoration of the Turkey’s first aviator Vecihi Hürkus. This milestone took place last August 29 at the Akincilar airbase in Kazan, close to Ankara by the pilot Murat Özpala. CESA is proud to participate to this project through the definition, development and manufacture of Hürkus Hydraulic System and Flap Actuator.
