HD SPAIN / CESA LEADS THE PROJECT I-SISTEHMA

HD SPAIN (CESA) leads the research project on Intelligent electrical control and actuation SYSTEMS through the development of Health Monitoring technologies for sustainable Aviation – I-SISTEHMA, whose objective is to investigate the technologies necessary for the development of intelligent electrical control and actuation systems, through the application of Health Monitoring (HM) techniques that allow the continuous monitoring of the most important parameters of the system (those with critical failure modes affecting Safety in flight). This monitoring, with the acquisition of data and its intelligent processing, through innovative techniques based on Artificial Intelligence, will allow knowing potential degradation of the system parameters, and therefore being able to anticipate the actions to be carried out, both from the perspective of safe operation of the system, as well as the maintenance tasks to be carried out.

This project is funded by the CDTI with file number PTAG-20221010 through the call for the year 2022 of the procedure for granting aid for Sectoral Strategic Initiatives for Business Innovation (“Aeronautical Technological Program”), within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan (financed by Next Generation EU funds, including the Recovery and Resilience Mechanism) and the State Program to Catalyze Innovation and Business Leadership of the State Plan for Scientific and Technical Research and Innovation 2021- 2023.
