CESA strengthens its presence at the Paris Air Show 2015

CESA attended the Paris Air Show for another year. Once again it joined other Spanish companies in Spain’s pavilion, and this time around it surprised everyone with its biggest stand yet. It required a greater surface area this year to be able to exhibit all its latest innovations.

CESA considers this show one of the world’s main aviation and aerospace industry events and used this opportunity to showcase significant innovations and exhibit some of its most representative technological developments.

The retraction actuator and pitch trimmer developed by CESA for the A350 were particularly appealing to many of the numerous people who visited the CESA stand, as were the A400M actuators and cargo loading systems and electromechanical actuators, also a major highlight.

CESA has achieved great results at this show. In addition to the exhibition of its latest developments, CESA signed two contracts for the HURKUS B turboprop trainer with TAI (Turkish Aircraft Industry). CESA will supply the full hydraulic system and the flap actuators for the aircraft. The contract includes the delivery of 15 aircraft and an optional order of 40 additional aircraft.

Other significant milestones for CESA during the Paris Air Show include the collaboration agreement with EMKorea for the joint development of an on-board inert gas generation system for inerting air fuel tanks in a joint call with KIAT under the auspices of the European Union’s EUREKA organisation. This system is indispensable for improving aircraft safety.

CESA’s stand was visited by important individuals, including Mr Pedro Argüelles, Secretary of State for Defence, who hosted Aeronautics Day in Spain’s pavilion.
