UNVEX MADRID 2016 celebrated its Fourth Edition between the 24th and 26th of May at Cuatro Vientos airport of Madrid. This Fourth Edition has been a meeting point for big corporations as well as small and mid-sized enterprises interested in unmanned aircraft systems UAS, RPAS or Drones.

Carmen LibrerosGeneral Secretary for Transport at the Public Works Ministry, and Isabel MaestreManaging Director of the State Agency for Air Security, led the official opening of this last edition of UNVEX.

It is also an opportunity to show the latest technological developments achieved.

Amongst the equipment showcased by CESA we can highlight the main and front landing gears developed for the ATLANTE UAV and fuel cells, an application that CESA is developing through its participation in the ECORPAS project to design an unmanned aircraft with an advanced power unit based on fuel cells for environmental monitoring applications. This project is financed by CDTI with funds from the FEDER Program.

CESA was also present in the conference programme, in the talks on Research and Development. Andrés Jiménez, Head of development programmes for CESA, gave a presentation on New Architectures in Flight Controls using EMA’s for MALE and UCAV type UAVs.
