Airbus Military North America (AMNA) is recognized as the only “CESA Approved Repair Center” for the CESA produced Landing Gear and Hydraulic Components of the C-212 in the Americas.

In a ceremony held December 14, 2012, at Airbus Military North America (AMNA) in Mobile, Alabama (USA), in the presence of Juan Uriarte (AM Services), Jose Leal (CEO of CESA) and Eduardo Chamorro (CESA Technical and Commercial Director), a certificate was delivered to Jose Morales (CEO of AMNA) attesting that its MRO facility in Mobile, was the only repair facility trained and recognized by CESA to overhaul the Landing Gear and Hydraulic Components of the C-212 in the Americas.

This recognition comes five months after the signing of an agreement between CESA and AMNA on July 19, 2012. After which, CESA audited AMNA to verify their documentation, procedures, tools and AMNA staff met the standards of CESA.

Airbus Military North America is increasing its stock of spare parts to offer customers the best repair in a timely manner and at very competitive prices.

During 2013, AMNA will obtain approval from CESA for the overahul of CN-235 Hydraulic components produced by CESA. AMNA plans to obtain approval from CESA to overhaul the Landing Gear of the CN-235 in the near future. AMNA’s largest customer of the CN-235 is the United States Coast Guard, which currently has 14 aircraft in operation with plans to eventually reach 36 aircraft.

AMNA’s MRO center is EASA and FAA certified to perform Aircraft Maintenance and Component Repairs on the C-212 and CN-235 aircraft.
