Contract Signing Ceremony with EMK

Last 26 February the ceremony was held for the signing of the contract for the LCH/LAH project between CESA and the Korean company Energy&Machinery Korea at CESA’s Centre for the Development of Aeronautical Equipment and Systems facilities.


The ceremony was attended by the CEO of Energy&Machinery Korea, Sam-Su, Kang, as well as the Korean representatives Shin-Hyun, Kang, Managing Director; Yong-Chul, Cho; Hee-Duok, Bang and Yeon-Sil, Kang, along with CESA team members such as its CEO, José Leal, and Technical and Sales Director Eduardo Chamorro.

EMK Korea Co. is known for its experience with gas production and filtration systems. The company enjoys a solid reputation for its proven results and has successfully positioned itself in five business areas: Tunnel Boring Machines, Energy/Environment, Defence/Aerospace, Machine Tools and the Power Generation industry.

The central facets of the signed contract for the LCH/LAH project are the design, development, manufacturing, certification and assembly by CESA of two of the main components of the hydraulic distribution system: the tank and the instruction manifold.

The contract consists of two phases: the development phase, set to last four years, and the production and support phase for 700 helicopters in the Korean zone of influence. The estimated value of this project is $25 million, not including the value of service support.
