The initial investment has exceeded $ 15 million and its initial capacity of production is estimated in 2000 annual actuators, although the forecast is to reach 8000 units. The production of aerospace actuators will begin in April.
CESA, meanwhile, sees Wipro as a partner to establish synergies and further strengthen its presence in international markets, particularly in Asia. It is a new opportunity to meet new challenges and enter into new emerging markets. Although, Wipro help CESA to absorb its large increase in workload expected.
Jose Leal, the CEO of CESA, said that for EADS and CESA, the agreement with Wipro is the opportunity to work with a strong partner in the current programs and to “meet the objectives of Offset in India” also added that “CESA and Wipro will be able to explore new business opportunities in Asia-Pacific and other emerging markets”
The Wipro-CESA agreement has been considered as a reference example for Indian companies as part of the increasing penetration of EADS in this market.
